Excellent parking sensor with excellent supplier service

I had a sensor fitted today. So far, so good. If someone knows a little about the basic wiring and how to remove the molding and bumper from a car, anyone can easily complete the installation. I will edit this review as needed in the future. I am satisfied with the device and the purchase. I had an issue with a missing part in the original packaging. But the seller (Frostory) responded quickly and offered to replace the device for free. Very good service.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Minor issues

Good price and works

Installed on a 2001 Dodge Class B motorhome with vintage chrome steel bumper. The kit arrived on time, with all the components, deserved the first time. I didn't want to drill into the bumper so I had to get creative with the installation. Good thing I'm a curmudgeon and a curmudgeon - found the perfect plastic sensor holder. The speaker cable is only about 15 feet long. Had to place the speaker about halfway in the camper. My RV is old and noisy when driving. I would like the speaker cable to…

Make sure you have enough clearance behind the bumper

Attached to 2 Subaru Foresters. Very easy to install. Just check the gap under the plastic bumper, you need at least 3/4 inch space for installation. I installed two units, both had faulty hi/low volume controls. They only worked in the hi position. I had them replaced, no problem unless you place the ECU in a hard-to-reach spot. Make sure to mount the sensors as high on the bumper as possible, otherwise you will get beeps when reversing on slight inclines. This can be annoying! For the money…

Great for standing in place

I have a red Rav4 and these sensors are an almost perfect color match. I'm very happy with how they look. Also the included hole saw was able to make the perfect hole for the sensors. If you can remove the bumper, installation is pretty easy. I wish the cables were a little longer. With an SUV like mine, cable length becomes an issue. They're also great for reverse or parallel parking, but aren't as good at pulling out of a spot and spotting oncoming vehicles when reversing. My wife's car has…

Exactly what I was looking for.

Works well so far. It looks really good if you get it right and take your time, and seems to be working really well so far. The pilot bit on the bit included in the kit was very flimsy and wouldn't go through my plastic bumper so I had to use a different bit and then use a hole saw to drill the hole. The real hole saw worked fine but the pilot attachment didn't work. I didn't remove my bumper for this install, I used fishing tape and a friend fished it all out with pliers through the space in…

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Good but not very good

Looks factory installed!

I have been buying/using this type of redundant sensors for many years. I love her. I put them on my daughter's car and mine. No problem, they ALWAYS work and work perfectly. This time I matched the gray ones with my gray sprout. Initially, the sensor's colors looked brighter, but after installation, they matched perfectly. They work great too. I only used 3, 1 on each end and 1 in the middle. The speaker/buzzer is located at the rear and is loud enough to be heard above normal radio listening…

2008 Tundra Steel Bumper Sensors

Please read below for details on these redundant sensors. Bought these for my 2008 Toyota Tundra which you may or may not know is a big truck. So I went into town and started installing. I have a steel bumper so I needed a step drill to drill through it. Supplied as a kit but is suitable for plastic bumpers but not steel. For me, the size of the gauges required the step bit to fit the 7/8 mark. After drilling, make sure the transducer is inserted smoothly and not tightly. When it's solid, it…
