I have a lot of electrical equipment in my office that needs to be plugged in, but I don't like the look of long extension cords. It takes up a lot less space and has the added benefit of being a night light. I also needed a surge protector since my computer and other expensive devices plug into it. Being white, it plugs right into my outlet and there are no cords to trip over. It will be great to take with you when traveling as it is not only an extended socket holder but also a USB.
