I wanted to buy a portable espresso machine that could make high quality espresso and that I could use anywhere I need it. I've tried using the Aeropress but while it makes good coffee it's a different brewing method and being an espresso drinker I've started looking elsewhere. I tried to make an espresso similar to what I get at home using the Breville Express Pro and the Vario-W grinder. I've always read great reviews about Flair espresso machines from James Hoffmann, Hoon's Coffee and decided to give it a try. I was a bit skeptical at first as I had already tried Gaggia and Delonghi coffee machines in the office and in cafés. The quality of the espresso was below what I have at home. Even with more expensive models. God, I'm glad I bought Flair. Since the first extraction I can brew a good espresso! The more familiar I became with the workflow, the better the espresso got (the learning curve was 3 shots!). I brought flair to the office and my friends loved it. I chose the Flair Pro2 model and am very happy with it. I've read good things about the Classic and Signature, but the Pro 2's stronger materials, flexibility, and better performance make it worth every penny. The build quality of the machine, accessories and body are works of art. Extremely well built and full of little details that show respect and attention to customers. Just like what Apple did in its glory days.
