This is the second time I've used this product to stabilize and reinforce rotting wood. We're die-hard RV enthusiasts, and no matter what the manufacturers tell you, the wood base in even the most expensive RVs isn't even Oriented Strand Board, it's pressed wood. Regardless of how well these RVs are built, if not caught and dried promptly, water can seep into the subfloor and the wood will begin to rot and become spongy, which can result in the floor not holding up. I used this product for the first time because a very old motorhome had a very rotten part of the floor along the outside wall. I could stick my finger through the floor and out. The second time I use it in a much newer motorhome. Someone removed the toilet in the second bathroom to put tiles. When they replaced the toilet they didn't do the right job and the sub floor got so wet it rotted and we discovered a problem when we noticed water leaking through the floor into one of our pens. This product is absorbed and begins to strengthen the rotten soil from the bottom up. At first we used a different product and it worked, but not as well as PC-Petrifier. So if you have window sills, trim boards or in our case underbody rot this is without a doubt the best product out there. It's also a lot cheaper than other products we used when we couldn't find PC Petrifier at our local store.
