8.0 hp Sounds really impressive but is actually no better than a good blower. heat comes from engines; there is no heating. I coped well with the expected temperature rise of 20-30 degrees. The base of the hose and the device itself get hot, but the 30-foot hose is too long for heat to reach the nozzle. I contacted the manufacturer and they told me to add another inlet filter first to restrict airflow. Then they said to remove the nozzle and shorten the hose. Not an acceptable solution; I paid another $60 to get a longer hose. The device just doesn't cost $450. I will return mine. Save time and money.
