I received this grinder to replace an old Airvantage that had lost all of its performance. When I picked it up I was a bit apprehensive, it was a bit like a toy and my hand wasn't used to the shape. It claims to be quiet but it's hard to tell as it's a grinder and grinding sand on metal makes a lot of noise, but I can say it sounds like a good quality grinder. After using it for a month on accident repairs, my hand has adjusted to the shape and I like its power. So if it lasts long, I would get a different one.
