Heavy Duty Air Sander

Using only 6 cfm of compressed air at 90 psi, this small, lightweight sander goes in circles around all of my electric sanders. Also very quiet. Just a low hum. You will quickly go through all the grains (80, 150, 220). A two square foot piece is smooth on 220 grit in about 2 minutes. Festool will eat your heart!

Good after a month of heavy use

I received this grinder to replace an old Airvantage that had lost all of its performance. When I picked it up I was a bit apprehensive, it was a bit like a toy and my hand wasn't used to the shape. It claims to be quiet but it's hard to tell as it's a grinder and grinding sand on metal makes a lot of noise, but I can say it sounds like a good quality grinder. After using it for a month on accident repairs, my hand has adjusted to the shape and I like its power. So if it lasts long, I would get

I strongly advise against buying an Aircat!

This grinder has worked great for about 2 weeks after purchase. The first thing that happened was the entire motor assembly fell out of the mill itself and had to be taken back and repaired under warranty. Worked great for about a month more and the trigger stuck. Well, before you just had to pull the trigger and that would solve the problem, but now you can't pull the trigger at all and everything kicks into high gear when the airflow drops and you can't even pull the trigger.
