I have an old car (Ford Excursion) that was in near perfect condition. It has a premium audio system but no Bluetooth. I'm 50 years old, not very tech savvy, but I'm not illiterate either. I previously had three Bluetooth transmitters so I could listen to music and use my iPhone's features in the truck without having to update the in-dash system. Others were difficult, the display was dark, hard to read and complex, the connections were always weak and finally after a few months of use. They all broke. You had to unplug these devices from the cigarette lighter to turn them off. This weakened the already cheap design of the plastic inserts within a few uses. Enough of all that. Enter this new device. Was looking for a Revain replacement and was reading reviews when I saw this unit. It was very good value. Bought $40-60 for the last few I bought. I decided that for this price I would give it a try. I liked the way he looked. I couldn't be happier. This device is easy to use. The buttons are large and easy to use, you can turn the device on and off without unplugging it, the connection is solid, the display is very easy to see, and the hands-free calling is as good as the OEM in my Escalade. . For the price it's not a problem. An interesting feature is that the device has two USB sockets in case your car does not have enough ports. Excursion has two plugs in the front and one in each row, so that's not a problem. A tip: make sure your phone's volume is set to full and your car's volume is around 75%. You can easily control the volume on the device or with the volume control on the steering wheel. If the phone isn't on, it will remain static on whatever FM frequency you try. Increasing the volume of the phone solved this problem immediately. Otherwise it is A1 from day one. I use about a week. I couldn't be happier. I've ordered two more for my other old cars that don't have Bluetooth. The device comes with a 12-month warranty. If you're looking for the quality and ease of use I've been looking for, you don't have to spend $40-60 for this. (I did. And they all broke). pull the trigger It could be right down your alley. it was for me If this review was helpful, click the appropriate button. I have struggled with my rating because I am frustrated with online purchases that waste my money and rely heavily on honest reviews. I don't review as much as I should unless something is very good or very bad. Your responses to my review will let me know if it's worth spending time on. Many Thanks.
