, I recently went on a trip that required several trips in water shoes. While I wouldn't recommend them on really sharp rocks, they were GREAT as water shoes. They do not fall into the water and do not put pressure on the foot. I prefer them to sandals to keep the gravel out. I only wish they had a hanging loop to dry off after a swim; i can sew one They are also good for kayaking, feeling the wind and protecting my feet from sunburn. I haven't walked in them much other than swimming and back, but they are also nice and comfortable to walk in, no problem with blisters so far. They were also great walking shoes for hiking, very light weight and gave my feet some much needed ventilation.
