Update: About a month after installation, the lightbulb started flickering. This happened randomly, sometimes very subtly, sometimes it would turn off completely and then turn on again. It was very annoying. The light had already been there with the CFL bulb for several years so I was pretty sure it wasn't the wiring. So I bought an adapter and a standard base Cree lightbulb and it's perfect. I was hoping these cheap bulbs would work for me, but unfortunately I can't recommend them anymore. I tried a second bulb and it was the same. I threw them all in the trash. Save time and money and get Cree the first time. First review: I needed a GU24 to change the lightbulb in our Panasonic bathroom fan. The original lamp was a compact fluorescent lamp with that blunt base that you can't buy anywhere else but the internet. The new LED is slightly shorter than the CFL in the fan, so it fits well. The light is good color (2700k) and slightly brighter than CFLs. If you're in the same position as me, this lamp should work just fine. Now I have four of them, so the next 80 years should be enough for me.
