5-port docking station

Do not buy! Ease of installation. Easily the worst docking station I've ever bought. I bought this product to replace 2 elcheapo 2 port docking stations that I bought for a specific project I was working on and repurposed it to use as a 40TB storage project. I have a 4 port dock that works great that I would use but doesn't support drives larger than 8TB. Enter this product. I moved things around to make room on my available PSU to plug it in. Bought a first-class USB 3.1 hub, installed it, connected the docking station. I placed my drives and turned on the docking station. Put the drives back into my cheap $23 docking stations. TA DAH. Everything is back online and working properly. Why all this disappointment? I just want a permanent home for these CDs! The search continues. Result. It's 100% garbage. Cheap plastic seems light and cheap, not even a working log is enough to complete a Windows disk scan. Oh yeah. I was impressed by how well and neatly the unit was packaged. Big shout! Rather, the device came unpackaged, but in perfect working condition. Do not buy! Cheap plastic seems light and cheap, not even a working log is enough to complete a Windows disk scan. Oh yeah.
