I can't really tell you the fuel economy on my 2002 CHEVY 2500HD 6.0 because I installed it. I also enabled short tracks, removed the cat and removed the AGR. I built myself an intake pipe, welded THRUSH mufflers and a real dual exhaust. There is no tuner yet. Tires changed from 245/75/16 to a size up to 265/75/16. Didn't check fuel consumption before or after. It doesn't matter if you know big trucks and gas engines you know you're always going to have gas mileage lol my truck is designed to work and tow and tow. I was just bored and thought I might try screws for better tone and torque. What I do know for sure is that if I drove an hour one-way and straight home, I'd always use up 1/4 tank. After all the upgrades I did at the same time, the same ride now only burns 1/8 tank! So 50% better without a tuner! Low torque increased slightly. The engine has 198,000 miles on it and now when you take off the tires spin quite easily if you try to take off quickly.
