We have just gotten a very large and very powerful dog who has a tendency to attack other dogs and people and have reluctantly decided to switch to a collar. I have experience with horse bits from the Herm Sprenger brand. The collar is durable, effective, and there are no seams and sharp edges along the edges. Now I can walk our beautiful and strong dog with confidence that he will not pull me towards anyone or attack me. I feel much more confident around him and he already listens and responds very well to a few short walks. The charging behavior is almost non existent and he is on a very weak leash for most of the walk! Please work with the instructor to learn how to properly select, place and use this type of equipment if unfamiliar.
