Review on πŸ”§ Premium 7.5 Inch Black and Blue Welding Pliers by Capri Tools 10110 by German Diaz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Always by my side while I weld

These weld guns have become one of the few tools I always carry with me when I weld, and they haven't given up in the last year. They have replaced several other tools that are only used for one job. Every part of this tool has been very well thought out. The tip has serrations that help grip and pull out the filler wire after it has fused to the tip. Coming down from the tip you have a little jagged grip that makes removing the tip easier. Next are wire cutters for the wire sticking out of the torch. Next are the large serrated handles, which are great for detaching the mug from the burner. The handles are made of a comfortable rubber-like material, which makes them very easy to hold even with large welding gloves. Handles tend to melt fairly easily, so it's best to stay away from hot parts if you can. Other unadvertised uses I've come up with are a jackhammer, a slag remover, and a head scratcher. All in all a great pair of pliers that I use every day. Will definitely try to buy another pair once my current pair stop working. Pros: - Great grippy grip - Multipurpose use (don't try to do everything, just the bare minimum) - Notches hold up well - Very little give when gripping with high pressure - Spring to open the spine - Sturdy construction Cons: - Grips melt quite easy
