Our dog has a sensitive gastrointestinal tract and occasionally has bursts of spitting up and/or diarrhea. The vet suggested giving skinless, defatted cooked chicken breast and white rice for 2 days to get his body back on track. Now I keep a few of these in stock and they're always ready when he needs them. Expiration dates are always far enough away to ensure they are used before they actually expire.
