I bought these for my work place so guest speakers came in with a presentation and forgot to bring their laptop key so I could give them a day. It works great when connected to each of my monitors, but for some reason it doesn't work with our Crestron system. The system we have is used to place a laptop on the lectern and mirror the screen onto 6 different monitors in our presentation/computer room. We bought 2 of these dongles and they don't work with my MacBook Pro or several other MacBook Pros or Air Airs. Sure, the $60 Apple key works fine. Your experiences may vary and I can try some of the suggestions mentioned in other reviews e.g. B. Plugging it into Mac first and then waiting a few seconds to plug in the HDMI cable, but I can't just hand it to the guest and expect it to work. Looks like I'll have to shell out $60 for another "official" Apple converter, which doesn't make me too happy.
