You will need a deep cut hacksaw like the

. When used with a Park Carbide cutting wheel, it cuts perfectly and produces a clean, flat cut. You'll need a deep hacksaw like the ones Park sells. I used a regular hacksaw and had to rotate the fork to cut all the way. Rotation was not a problem as the jig clamps the tube exactly where the incision is so alignment is easy when the tube is rotated. I would recommend getting the right saw and not having to struggle with it spinning. I didn't sight it either, but since the mount is large enough, it was easy to hold and clip. Another good design feature is that the conductor holds the pipe at the point of separation for almost the entire circumference. This prevents the carbon from cracking. If I wasn't going to use a carbide blade I would still wrap the pipe with tape around the cut just in case.
