Review on KC6083 Evolution 1 Click Calipers Drilled by Troy Gerhardt

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Buying the bundle was a bargain!

Replaced calipers/pads on my 13 year old WRX. Ordered a full set of front/rear calipers/discs/pads. For a long time I doubted the calipers, they were not needed yet, but the price in the kit was much better than if I had to buy them separately later. The disc boxes are labeled and each has a sticker "front right", "back left" etc., which saves you from lazy mistakes. (I just wish the sticker was easier to peel off the disc, I'd have to scrape it off with my fingernail and scrape off the sticky residue.) I liked that all the awkward parts were included. I replaced some of them and kept the rest as spares. I wish they came with caliper bracket mounting bolts and flange bolts. Had to buy them from Subaru and wait a few days to get them because the dealer doesn't have them in stock. The only downside: heavy boxes! In the front in one box, in the back in another. The boxes weigh 45 and 50 pounds. Most guys don't care, but I'm a little girl, 5'10" and only 94 pounds. It wasn't easy getting her off the porch. Boxes weren't the most durable things either. came in 4 separate boxes Probably couriers will agree everywhere And there are no stickers? Non-original spare parts = stickers! Main charge, so you have to dispose of the old parts yourself.)
