I choose this rating because of the fit. The short exhaust pipe is offset to the passenger side of the car; This offset brings the exhaust pipe closer to the hole in the bottom of the plastic bumper. When this starts to affect the plastic I plan to take a pair of scissors and snip some of the plastic to give more clearance. The original stainless steel muffler lasted over twelve years, this muffler had a center exhaust pipe that aligned with the hole in the bumper. Otherwise I like the muffler, well built and with the engine running the Saturn was quiet again. I drilled two small holes in the bottom of the muffler, one at each end near the end seam, to drain any condensation from the fuel's combustion. I sprayed these holes with bright zinc to protect them. I recommend this product, especially considering the cheap price.
