Review on 🐢 Optimized Turtletherm Aquatic Turtle Heater by Zoo Med by Kim Allen

Don't waste your time and money if you don't need a cold aquarium! I installed it exactly as the instructions said, I didn't even check the tank afterwards because the screen said 81 degrees, which is slightly more than the suggested 78 degrees it should be preset to. No big deal, right? It was in a 30 gallon tank so it doesn't look like it was in a huge one where it wouldn't have enough power to heat the water. I didn't think about it because it said the temp was 81 but today was tank cleaning day and when I put my hand in to remove the turtles the water was COLD! And the reader said 81! Even the heater itself wasn't even remotely warm! And yes, as I said, it was installed next to the filter! A huge waste of time and money and a big hazard to my turtles! The poor fellows were there in the cold water!
