Premium video. What I'm concerned about is the sound quality. Full disclosure, I'm using this for a live broadcast of a Bible study where the speaker is sometimes about 10 feet from the camera. In this situation, the sound is not high-end. In both cases I had to buy a separate microphone (oh I bought two of the same and used them the same way). I had a teacher try to pre-record class on an old laptop and the laptop couldn't handle it. This is probably because his laptop only had USB2.0 ports. So if this is your situation, you can hesitate. The camera transmits high-quality video, and older devices may struggle. The result was strange noises and notches in the recorded product. An interesting solution was to buy a cheap (but new) Chromebook with USBC, which does a great job of recording and streaming from this camera. Four stars because there could be a better option at a much better price, I just don't have any experience with anything. still I wanted to be careful.
