Best thing for the money, glad I did it.

I will say not melting, it is used in the studio for webcam models, everyone is happy. To stream in 4K, you need a powerful computer, otherwise you will lose frames. The simplest way to check whether it will pull, without going into the hardware, is the following: download a couple of films in 4K, run in two different windows and watch the resource monitor, if it doesnโ€™t lag, then the camera will pull. Now it works through a splitter on 6 sites at the same time. Verdict - you can take it ifโ€ฆ

Pros
  • A non-built-in cord, who constantly moves the camera, knows what it is like when the built-in cord breaks, and the case is not collapsible. As a result, you have to change the camera, or . Sturdy case, good materials. Great for streaming and recording, works seamlessly in OBS and splitters. It rustles on both Mac and Windows.
Cons
  • Thick cord, outweighs the camera, heats up. Afraid of the dark, without a softbox, or the northern light from the window opposite the camera is useless. The microscopic sensor is simply not able to pass a lot of light through itself. I get 2 softs of 100 W + backlight. By the way, it holds the glare well.

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

The perfect camera for streaming. It is set up in an elementary way, I prefer the OBS bundle with Logitech Capture. With good light (softbox / ring) the picture will be perfect. With a laptop on Ryzen 7 everything works fine. Yes, it can lose focus boringly looking for it for a long time, but most often this is repaired by disabling autofocus. The price bites, but the quality is worth it. It is pleasant to hold it even in hands, pleasant body materials.

Don't expect Microsoft Hello to work - definitely don't call support on

expensive camera first, don't call support. What you get is a wait and then a guy who just replies to tell you they don't support anything other than hardware. This is a funny answer because they have a device driver that comes with it and its software, then they depend on the software to make it work, so why don't they at least start troubleshooting you. They didn't do that to me. Don't even try to figure out what could be wrong. Just said "I'm sorry". Good job leadership. You should be fired.

Decent camera.

I bought this for internet streaming so my use is very different from what some others might use it for. For me, the camera does a decent job. I don't think it's an amazing camera, but I don't think any of the webcams deserve a special mention either. You'll have to adjust the camera settings because the default configuration looks pretty bad. It handles the light quite well, with this camera I was able to dim the studio lights and get the same image quality. That alone was worth something toโ€ฆ

Blurry, inability to focus, poor image quality. Hours Spent

Thought I'd spent it A few hundred on this webcam would give a sharp picture - I have a Logitech c920x and it's pretty much ready to go. Good quality. and if adjustment is required, it is very minimal. I also bought a cheap $20 1080p fake from a 'wall' just to see if it would be satisfactory when nothing else was available in the early days of Covid. Poor quality but what do you expect for 20โ‚ฌ? doesn't give me much better picture quality than the $20 zoom camera. The funny thing is that theโ€ฆ

Said to be the best webcam, not sure

Premium video. What I'm concerned about is the sound quality. Full disclosure, I'm using this for a live broadcast of a Bible study where the speaker is sometimes about 10 feet from the camera. In this situation, the sound is not high-end. In both cases I had to buy a separate microphone (oh I bought two of the same and used them the same way). I had a teacher try to pre-record class on an old laptop and the laptop couldn't handle it. This is probably because his laptop only had USB2.0 portsโ€ฆ
