Years ago when I had braces I used dental floss. It was great to be able to get things out of the braces quickly without having to physically poke around in every crevice. Since then I've gotten used to regular flossing, but once you use it you won't want to stop. I have this because I have a lower retainer at the back of my teeth that makes it impossible to floss with regular floss. You need to use special hooks to clean them effectively. However, this irrigator helps me clean every time with no problems. Now I still use regular floss and I think most dentists would recommend that you use it along with regular floss as the water pressure can't get rid of all the stuck things. between the teeth. However, it does an excellent job of rinsing between teeth after regular flossing, allowing my toothbrush to clean more as a result. If you have sensitive gums I would also recommend this as the different modes allow you to brush without hurting sensitive gums. I would recommend this to anyone looking to improve their dental hygiene but especially if you have braces it makes cleaning easier and quicker.
