The plastic cover on our original 922 antenna fell off after years of use. So bought a new one to make sure the antenna is protected (it's just a thin wire inside). About half of the remote control buttons did NOT work on the replaceable antenna. As a result, he gave up and put his own broken one back. The remote control now works as it should. Do certain receivers, their antennas and remote controls require special pairing? Nothing of the sort is mentioned in the product description.
