Used on two different BMW vehicles (2004 BMW X5 E53 and 2001 BMW 540i E39). That works great. You can't reset BMW specific codes (like brake sensors, airbags etc) but you can get quite a bit of information, check and reset CEL codes etc. I use it with the DashCommand app. I docked a star because the Torque app adapter error count increased to 7 on initial install, which could be a torque bug. Seems to work better with DashCommand.
