Review on πŸ”‹ 36V Golf Cart Battery Meter: State-of-Charge Indicator by Charles Barney

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good quality item but with a few imperfections

Everything as simple as possible. Connect the positive and negative wires to the two tabs on the back and you're done. There's no marking on the back for which the protrusion is positive, but if you look at the back of the sensor while holding it upright, the positive protrusion is on the left. There were no sockets in the kit but since I already had a set of plugs it wasn't a big deal. However, for those without connectors, you'll need to make a trip to your local auto parts or electronics store to get a pair of crimp sockets. Also, be careful when using the mounting bracket. It's made of metal and if you drop it on the terminals when two wires are connected, it will catch your attention very quickly! I suggest installing the sensor first and then connecting the wires. One star deduction due to missing instructions, missing marking on the positive pole and plugs. However, the sensor itself appears to be of good quality.
