Charged batteries.

Wow, I charged my golf cart batteries. I'm very glad I got this. The husband didn't stretch the wires properly. Instead he installed it under the seat next to the batteries so it's weatherproof and very easy to check every day when I park. Now I can see if they need charging and most of the time they don't, but I have new batteries everywhere.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Hardly ever

The instructions say you need to drill a 2-1/16 hole, but the 2" hole works fine and it's much easier to find a 2" bit. They're pretty easy to install, but I'm not sure yet if they're giving the right display since they're in the loading area even when they're not loading. Easy to read, easy to install, but may not be able to accurately determine battery status.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • There are problems

Check immediately if it really works!

I purchased this product because I thought it had gone through some sort of manufacturer quality assurance process. Due to delays in receipt and because of the Christmas holidays abroad I didn't install it until after Revain's return period when I found it to be faulty - no voltage and circuit registering when I tested it with my meter open. A complete waste of my money and now I can't get it back and can't contact the company. Very bad experience.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Clearly bad product

Good quality but comes with wiring and quick connects for home installation

Very basic but why not include some quick connects and a cable with a meter? Little did I know the instructions said you had to go to the store and buy the other hardware needed for installation, as cheap as the breakers and wiring. It's a little frustrating that it doesn't come with it. The meter seems accurate so far, I also wish it came with a switch. To avoid using the battery when I'm sitting I'll probably just install it. Overall it seems good value for money and it seemed to have better…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Somewhat wrinkled

not sure do not buy

I've waited too long so I can't install anymore even though I never installed the item. I checked the voltage and for 36V it's not accurate at all. 36.2 volts is still just above the F mark. Well if I used that I would ruin my golf cart batteries as they shouldn't be drained that much. 36v is not F, but should stand on E for empty. When the batteries are fully charged and the charger is not connected, the pointer will be on H in the CHG section. very small sweep and very inaccurate. I may have…

  • All right!

Works well in my club car

Works well in my club car. I don't play golf, I only use the cart to get around the campgrounds and to and from the marina so I can charge it when the cart needs it. I attached it to the dash with a small L-Bracket and self-tapping screws. I also added a small built in snap switch to keep the sensor from drawing power all winter. One star deducted because it's not clear if "Chg" means "Charge Now" or "Fully Charged" or something else. Now I'm assuming it means "Charged". I just hit the…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Really don't like it, everything is fine

Good quality item but with a few imperfections

Everything as simple as possible. Connect the positive and negative wires to the two tabs on the back and you're done. There's no marking on the back for which the protrusion is positive, but if you look at the back of the sensor while holding it upright, the positive protrusion is on the left. There were no sockets in the kit but since I already had a set of plugs it wasn't a big deal. However, for those without connectors, you'll need to make a trip to your local auto parts or electronics…

Pros
  • Excellent general characteristics
Cons
  • Repair

Exactly what I needed (instructions included)

Delivered in 3 days, nicely packaged in bubble wrap. As others have said, there are no instructions, no wiring, no connectors. With the right tools, you can easily install them yourself. Once installed, it works great and matches ads. Here are the steps required to install a 36 volt golf cart. Requires: β€’ -18 gauge wire works well β€’ Spade terminals with crimping tool β€’ 2" hole saw (or whatever you prefer) Cut a hole exactly 2" and install a meter. Measure the battery terminals to make sure you…
