I'm sure it's a good product for some people but it just didn't work on my hair. Three straight wands are good and work just like any other curling iron - no better and no worse. But the three special rods were a disaster and completely useless. No matter what, my hair just fell out and I never had a curl or wave. Maybe it would work if my hair was longer (shoulder length) or not so thin. It was uncomfortable having to wear a glove to avoid burning your fingertips, which didn't help at all. In the end I returned it.
