Review on 🚿 Cherne 270178 Clean Out Mech Gripper: Revolutionize Your Plumbing Maintenance by Sean Patel

I used this to replace a worn out rusty plug that a previous plumber installed after cleaning my sewer line. My sewer line needed cleaning and the plumber I chose didn't replace the plug with a new one. (just a little mad about it but he was a good guy) The old plug was nasty and the wing nut that was on it fell apart completely after I tried LIGHTLY to turn it with a couple of locks! The plumber pulled it out and put it back in. After it was gone I noticed it and was concerned it was leaking so I ordered a Cherne Clean-Out Gripper. The Cherne clean-out grip works GREAT! My only complaint is the size. I measured the inside diameter of my pipe and it turned out to be 3.5" so I ordered the 3.5" model. It was too big so I had to order a 3 inch unit. But as soon as the 3" arrived I put it in the tube, tightened it up and it sealed really well! A well made product that does exactly what it's supposed to do. Just pay attention to the inside diameter size. I I still give it 5 stars because it worked so well!
