I've dealt with water bottles, dents and damage to most major brands. I live in Arizona and regularly leave my bottle in a hot truck. I can proudly say that the taste is imperceptible even after baking in a hot machine. It has survived bumps and bruises and is my daily companion. An insulator is better than nothing, a far cry from what some of us spoiled ones are used to, but if I can throw it in the dishwasher or not realize I'm carrying it with me all day, it's worth it. Highly recommended, got it on a better day to save some money but it's really worth the price. yes it is noisy But for those of us who have come out with Velcro, it far outweighs the cons.
