because when they arrived the little pink mesh bag and the bracelets themselves had a horrible strong chemical smell. I didn't give them to my granddaughter and wanted to throw them away but I forgot. After a few days I found the bag/bracelets (I didn't repackage them, just left them outside in my bedroom) and the smell is gone so I can still give them to her. The bracelets themselves are very cute and appear to be quite well made. I too would give them 5 stars but the smell was so terrible - hence only 3 stars.
