Review on 🟡 Aprilaire 4231 Humidifier Yellow Orifice Replacement by Aaron Richardson

A few years ago my solenoid valve failed so I removed the core and used a needle valve to control the flow. Had no idea what I was doing but it worked with frequent checks. Solenoid valve and needle valve replaced this year. I thought it was all over, but the humidistat didn't apply voltage to the solenoid valve. After reading all the comments on the solenoid valve and hygrostat I was able to fix the humidifier with a new hygrostat and of course the missing yellow hole. Get a good education.
