I have a very small dog she is 5lbs 1oz. She barked all the time, didn't come back when I called her, and barked in her kennel at night. Received this and put it on right out of the box, I'm on day 3 with it and it hasn't died. When I am at home I take her off because we are at home and at home she only barks when we are in public. If I know she isn't responding to a sound or vibration, I shock her and she comes right back. But when she barks and I hit the sound button, she stops. I used the sound option on her 1 time while she was in her kennel and have not had to use it again. All in all this product is amazing. Finally, it's so small that I had to cut off the collar because it was long enough to probably fit a German Shepherd.
