Easy to assemble, easy to read, wall bracket annoying

I have a Johnson Controls Professional Carbon Monoxide Alarm. Johnson Control models do not have a CO level screen - no screen at all. Recently one of those sensors gave a false alarm and the fire department came and checked the carbon monoxide level - it was zero. Firefighters found a net under the carbon monoxide detector cover of a Johnson Controls carbon monoxide detector. I blew it out with a can of compressed "computer air" and it worked. But I wanted a replacement near by CO sensor with a display screen so I bought 2 of these Kidde models. Kidde is accurate, easy to install, easy to activate. The wall mount has an annoying bug that I "fixed". The back plate of the wall mount for the Kidde has a 'snap' that needs to be pressed to completely remove the actual transmitter - this was annoying so I removed it - see photo with yellow arrow where the click used to be. Now I can easily remove the sensor from the wall bracket for painting or air cleaning. I installed a Kidde CO detector in my hall foyer about 20 feet from my 30 inch Viking VGIC stove model with gas range and gas burners. I was amazed at the level of CO that a gas oven produces - up to 25 ppm CO after an hour of operation even at 20 feet. Since then I've taken Kidde away from the oven. I now also constantly turn on the oven fan after checking the igniters and door seals. So I know this Kidde unit is working and that it is CO sensitive. All in all, you need them in your home - they can save your life! Hope that helps.
