Easy to install, good for fire safety

Comes with a mounting bracket that is attached to the wall first. The alarm is placed on the bracket. This activates the alarm. The green light will flash to let you know it's working.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • I keep calm

Do not buy this item.

Reading is always zero. I pushed right on the exhaust pipe and still got zero. Tried to contact the manufacturer and got no answer. Complete waste of my money.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Useless functions

Love this monitor it changes and displays so often

I love this monitor it changes and displays so often. In addition, it plugs into an outlet so the batteries don't run out. Been using this for a while and it works really great.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • poorly designed

You can check carbon monoxide levels

This is not one of those cheap carbon monoxide detectors. This allows you to read the CO levels in the area. I bought this to replace the round version of the Kidde which provided the same reading. I liked that it had mounting holes that matched my previous Kidde metal detector. This made it easy to mount using my original wall screws. I attached a few glued-in felt pads to the lower back, otherwise the fastening screws higher up could look a bit loose.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Expensive

Easy to assemble, easy to read, wall bracket annoying

I have a Johnson Controls Professional Carbon Monoxide Alarm. Johnson Control models do not have a CO level screen - no screen at all. Recently one of those sensors gave a false alarm and the fire department came and checked the carbon monoxide level - it was zero. Firefighters found a net under the carbon monoxide detector cover of a Johnson Controls carbon monoxide detector. I blew it out with a can of compressed "computer air" and it worked. But I wanted a replacement near by CO sensor with…

Pros
  • Everything clear!
Cons
  • I will not say anything
