Not once, but twice during setup, the user is presented with upsell screens (insurance and premium services) accessed only by an OK button. You must exit the screen and dismiss the warning to avoid purchasing the update, and then the watch will not exit setup mode until the update is complete (the warning can last over 20 minutes, and yes, 90 is more than 20) . Ninety minutes you have to leave your phone on the Fitbit app update screen and therefore cannot use your phone)
