Review on Philips Sonicare AirFloss Ultra HX8332/11 - Enhanced Previous Version by Patricia Jordan

I had the first generation and it only lasted 2 months. Philips sent a replacement but I saw the same issue. I thought the newer version (this one) could be better, but the only improvement is almost zero. The three-way button isn't waterproof at all - it just snaps in place (see photo). Also, the internal hoses are simply inserted, when high pressure water flows through them, many leaks occur. Therefore, I see a lot of water that has accumulated in the house after opening (see photo). This design caused damage to the circuit board (see photo). Depending on the room temperature, sooner or later (from 1 to 5 months) there will be a short circuit in the main power source, especially during charging, when a strong current flows through the water. It took Philips more than 5 years to switch from the first generation to this one. but I still don't see any improvement in design: same leak, same PCB damage. You should NOT buy this unless you want to donate your money to Philips.
