No bad experiences here
Will update if I have had a bad experience with this pen but the install went smoothly. All door handles are cheap, even GM's. You always lose the knurled nut that attaches to the door, like this one. There were NO issues with alignment of the guide pin etc as mentioned in other reviews. If I can get through a year or two of that, I'm fine with that.
