The cables that come with it look nice, but they are the most microphone cables I've ever heard of. Almost like a stethoscope! The headgear also needs some work. The hanging strap pulls the cups further up and moves them out of position. I hope Philips will fix these issues in future releases. But once you find the right spot for your headphones - and keep them there! - The sound quality will be perfect. They're fun to listen to and they sound just like the X2 but with more detailed highs without hiss. These are the Guardians! I will now make some cables and modify the headband. Edit: After some listening, I found them to be a bit hissing. I think the X2HR is the best buy.
