But good light. in Power & Electrical

Make sure it is where you want it before you snap the trim ring as it is VERY difficult to remove once the light is installed. Even when disassembled, getting out is difficult. There is a slight leak around the base as mentioned in other reviews. I think it has to do with the lens cap letting light through like a fiber optic; The lens cap and mounting flange are made of translucent plastic, allowing light to pass through the edge of the lens (the trim ring doesn't fit snugly on the ceiling). headliner and I found that when I screwed it in nice and tight, less light leaked out. This leads to my third complaint: the screws that are provided are very thin with very fine threads, maybe #4 or even #2, so they're the thin ones Material break off for ceiling mount and difficult to tighten. And once you snap the ring. So make sure you have it where you want it and use slightly larger screws. Nice touches: they give off lots of very nice warm white light, have a very low profile, are easy to fit and are a definite improvement over the old domed RV dome lights. I really like the little blue search light; I am actually ordering more and will take my own advice and use a larger WS screen and try to make the base opaque.
