Review on ⌚ Black Garmin Fenix 5X Plus Sapphire Smartwatch with Wi-Fi & NFC by Iori Yagami ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not everything is so bad, the average purchase in quality.

The watch is as good as a watch - to watch the time. The rest is a controversial product for me. This low resolution display is not aesthetically pleasing to me, although it saves battery and is visible in the dark. The watch has a very strange software, in order to extract some kind of logic from it, you need to break your whole head, although as a result, no particular analytics in sports will work. The software does not connect correctly with the PC. Some kind of strava - what is it at all? The altimeter shows the weather on Mars. The oximeter also has no connection with reality. The pedometer works in the car. Some kind of coating has peeled off the strap from the kit and now it looks greasy (the apple watch has been running for 3 years and nothing). In my opinion, the normal price for this device with a rubber strap is 20 thousand at most. Charging the watch occurs only in the case of a clean contact group (this is for outdoor sports watches). After almost a year of wearing, I don’t understand how to make sure that the watch buttons are not pressed by themselves and the functions are not turned on by themselves - where is the blocking then? Probably the software of the product is multifunctional as they write about it, but the usability of this functionality is lame on both legs. Paying for hours without dancing with a pincode will not work. To listen to music - you need to upload mp3 on board - which is cool for autonomy, but you can switch it with buttons. The watch is not designed for the fast pace of life and is very suitable for those who have a lot of free time and a desire to get used to non-obvious approaches to use. You should not expect the same from them as from Applewatch, this is a specialized product, reliable and condo like AK47. To date, this product has no competitors in terms of form factor and operating time, I really look forward to Garmin making a watch with a normal display and android on board.
