I am very happy with this purchase, I will advise everyone!

I tested phoenixes for a long time comparing with apple watch. Of course, these are completely different devices, but IMHO this is the only worthy one at the moment. Sensors: they really work, the indicators are not from the ceiling. Barometer, altimeter, heart rate, etc. Before that, there were still amazfit stratos, that's where stupidly random numbers are displayed and no more. Always on display: transflective screen is a must have! My wife, of course, says it looks like a Tamagotchi)…

Pros
  • First of all, the presence of many sensors that, in turn, work, and are not stuck to attract attention. Also all ways on display And the highlight of autonomy
Cons
  • The disadvantages are funny, but for that matter, I’ll give you what I encountered: Sometimes they fall off the strava (and Bluetooth in general); In order to have the current weather in the watch, you need to constantly synchronize with the application (in the background, the Garmin connection eats a decent battery on the iPhone xs) Few regular dials, (I’ll write about non-standard ones below)

Not everything is so bad, the average purchase in quality.

The watch is as good as a watch - to watch the time. The rest is a controversial product for me. This low resolution display is not aesthetically pleasing to me, although it saves battery and is visible in the dark. The watch has a very strange software, in order to extract some kind of logic from it, you need to break your whole head, although as a result, no particular analytics in sports will work. The software does not connect correctly with the PC. Some kind of strava - what is it at all…

Pros
  • Battery Life Appearance The prestige of the perception of the model is almost subpremium Navigation is good The sapphire on the glass is real! super reliable There are awesome Titanium QuickFit straps - the look is just fire The display is visible in the dark and in the sun Reliability Waterproof 5+
Cons
  • Training Features Sensors work - buggy Price Silicone strap lasts half a year NFC - not usable Music - likewise not comfortable at all Scratched case, especially in the bezel area No human blocking of buttons from accidental presses Glitchy charging not designed for use "in the field" You can save the location, it is not clear where to watch it later

Low quality, I will not buy this anymore.

A good option to throw money away! I still remember Polar V800 with warmth! Although you won’t look at them without tears in design, but in terms of sports functionality, this is the best I had! I still keep them. It's a pity he himself fell victim to image wars and I can no longer refuse to show off. And harmin - this is empty, golimy show-off! Take care of yourself, do not fall for this bait, like the Indians for glass beads. Garmin has been a designer "Ge" for ten years now!

Pros
  • Design. The sapphire glass is really sapphire and is not scratched by sand.
Cons
  • All the declared functionality is just marketing noodles on the ears: The pulse without an external sensor is measured with a finger in the sky. Built-in navigation is so inconvenient that it is easier to use a smartphone, paper maps or good old astro-navigation. An application for analyzing training statistics is generally a separate “song”. In general, an incomprehensible and overloaded design creation. It is not clear how to make the clock understand where they are. I have already returned from a camp in Turkey for two months, but the watch display persistently writes to me that I am somewhere else there . the display shows “SSE”, then “South”. And the temperatures were 26 degrees Celsius, although it was already snowing outside the window!

Disgusting, not happy with the purchase.

There is samsung gear, there is an apple watch, but they are not satisfied with the battery, charging every day is too much, phoenixes bribed it with a service life and a huge number of flattering reviews, like a cool watch for sports and outdoor activities. But half of the sensors are buggy. They look cool and claim a lot of cool features, but half of them either don't work or are buggy. I read the reviews here, please note that positive ones are only from those who use less than a month. I…

Pros
  • Battery life, there are no questions, the clock works really long. Offline maps, not . maps, of course, but for orientation on the ground somewhere deep in the taiga - they help.
Cons
  • 1. Very buggy software. There is nothing to talk about here, look at the reviews in the app store, everything works through the fifth point. 2. Pedometer thinks strange. I turned on the clock in the car, 0 steps, at the first traffic light it was already 11. By the time I got to the office - 363 steps. 3. The heart rate monitor thinks it's strange. Half an hour of an active game of squash (damp T-shirt, breath knocked down) - 75 beats per minute. I washed, sat in the locker room, I look - 150. Just data from the ceiling. 4. The altimeter doesn't work at all. The most embarrassing. Walked uphill, wrote a track. I noticed that the current height is displayed as -160 meters. I went into the settings, into the altimeter calibration, calibrated by gps, everything is ok, 1800 meters as it should have been. I went further, after 5 minutes again -160 meters, although auto-calibration is worth it. 5. The workout itself does not determine, or it is configured where I could not get to. I ran for half an hour, I look, the training itself did not turn on. I turned on the run, ran for another hour, only the last hour signed up. For comparison, Apple Watches almost instantly recognize the workout and record it, the Samsung Gear detected the workout after 10 minutes, but recorded the entire workout, including the first 10 minutes. 6. GarminPay - disappointment of the year number 1. Unusable. I got the cards, everything is OK, but for payment you need to enter a 4-digit code through the watch interface, using the up and down buttons. It's not usable. 7. Music in the watch - disappointment of the year number 2. Music in the watch for running is the best thing to not take the phone with you. BUT, straight fat BUT. I can't sync music from . music or iTunes, I have to download music and upload mp3 to my watch from a computer, this is in 2022.

Good quality product, I rate this purchase excellent.

In general, with the advent of Garmin Pay, the watch has become much more interesting for everyday wear, sports functions have long been ideal for Garmin. I still can’t get enough of the quick-change strap system (in the 3rd strap replacement was just a torment), now you can easily put on a leather strap or just some bright one according to your mood. I thought for a long time whether to take the titanium version and came to the conclusion that it’s still not worth overpaying. The native…

Pros
  • About a year I used the previous flagship from Garmin - Fenix 5X, so there will be small comparisons with this model. Among the advantages I would highlight: 1. The changed shape of the bezel and the glass is flush with it. It is quite suitable for a sapphire model, they look more solid than compared to 5X, where the glass is recessed. But if you choose the option with mineral glass, then this will already be a minus, because. mineral glass is much easier to scratch. 2. Significantly increased autonomy. On average, with 3-4 workouts per week (in the gym and pool, i. E. without using GPS), the watch lives for about 12 days. Previous 5X's only lasted 7-8 days under the same regime. An important point - the autonomy is strongly influenced by the selected dial, I recommend using the standard ones, simply by setting the necessary data fields on them. All third-party watch faces still consume much faster battery, no matter how simple they are (especially options like Activeface and the like). 3. Built-in memory for music. Now I go to workouts without a smartphone, it's very convenient. By the way, those who use the iPhone can synchronize music with iTunes, but only downloaded tracks on the computer, i. E. an Apple Music subscription is useless. Ah, one more nuance. Owners of waterproof headphones can forget about the music in the pool. I tried - the signal is lost. 4. Garmin Pay. Everything works perfectly with Alfa-Bank, we connected without any frills the first time. It is a pity that once a day you need to enter a password (and this is not very convenient from the buttons) and you can’t hang up quick buttons to call the wallet for some reason. Those. You can only go through the menu (long press the backlight) to go there. 5. Significantly increased speed. This is manifested in widgets, and in the menu, and in the search for satellites. Directly noticeably faster than in 5X. 6. Small visual improvements in the software. Well, for example, when scrolling through widgets, the position of the selected widget in the list of configured widgets is now visible. Animation when scrolling through widgets, etc. 7. All other advantages of the previous 5X remained in place.
Cons
  • Well, the shortcomings by and large also remained the same. But these are the ones that are especially annoying: 1. Weak vibration. The inability to adjust its strength and duration. It is especially inconvenient in the pool, where you practically do not feel vibration at all. 2. The inability to customize the sound tones, they can only be turned on or off. 3. All the same pedometer errors when driving on our domestic, not very good roads. :) But the mistake, when strokes were counted as steps when swimming, was nevertheless corrected. 4. A pulse oximeter is generally a prank if you are not going to climb Everest. :) And the measurement is done only at rest, i. E. for about 30-40 seconds you need to not move at all. 5. I expected this version to appear along with the touch screen buttons, as in the same Suunto. But apparently, the greed of the manufacturer did not allow this version to implement such features. Although they have experience, for example, the same Vivoactive 3 has a touch screen, and it is quite convenient in everyday life. When playing sports, the buttons are, of course, much more convenient. I think the sensor will still appear in future versions. 6. There are breaks in the connection with the smartphone. If you go outside the Bluetooth radius for a long time without a phone, then there is a high probability that upon returning the watch will no longer automatically connect. Easy to treat - just open the Garmin Connect app.

Absolutely chic watch in terms of its functionality, design and potential. Now the main thing is to eliminate minor shortcomings, and in general, do not score on 5x+ for as long as possible even after the release of 6x More details: - The real life of the watch with a standard recording of activities with the "GearMin" watchface (steps, HR, floors, barometer, paired with a smartphone) is up to 4 days (approximately 30% charge per day + -). With simple dials, of course, longer. - Entering a…

Pros
  • First impressions after a week of use. Firmware 32022 (official clock Certify, 2022 language, maps) What's Cool: - Design (difference from 5x - the red triangle turned into a strip at 12 o'clock, the notches on the bezel also became narrow, the glass was brought into line with the bezel (it's not clear why, because before they positioned the recessed glass as more protected), the silicone strap became smooth ( there is no problem of erasable reflection and pollution). - interface - NFC payment (Garmin Pay in the 2022 - Amazon approved the binding the second time (at the same time, SMS confirmation by SMS code worked in both cases and SMS was received about binding to a contactless device). But in the first attempt, in the GarminPay tab in the GarminMobile application under the card there was a waiting for the bank's response), the Amazon employees on the hotline said that GP is not supported, the card will not be tied, and they offered to install FitPay. Removing the card and re-registration helped. This time, no problem. Employees need to be retrained. - mp3 player (not tested yet, next in line) - oximeter - a huge set of activities - life on one charge (and fast charging) - a screen that shows even better in the sun than in the shade - fast enough search for satellites (2sec in nature \ up to 15sec in the stone jungle) - great set of maps (official watch version) - quick responses to notifications from your smartphone - a mountain of watch skills in everything and at once. It's pointless to even list. Read any reviews of Fenix 5x and 935 and add with a slide. The appearance and size of the watch is a separate item. "sold" the watch to four unknown men in a week, who could not resist and asked what kind of watch was on the hand. With Apples that look like a bar of free soap in hotels, and elegant Samsungs, this will not work.
Cons
  • 1. Alert delay. The watch can report an incoming call after 1-2 beeps of the phone. 2. The clock is not fast enough. Access to the quick menu by pressing the backlight key may be delayed by 2-4 seconds. 3. Entering a pin code for Garmin Pay. Winding 10 digits in a circle with the forward / backward keys in an attempt to enter 4 digits while standing at the supermarket checkout is still a pleasure 4. Silicone strap. The hand under it, as before, preet if you work out or get wet. Wearing 24/7 after that is not an option. Look for alternatives on Ali, there are a million of them. 5. In places, the curve of Russification. Do not be surprised if at the moment of walking on top of the dial something like "Scale of the suspended sbr." and other "meaningful" hints 6. With an incoming call, only one vibration signal from the phone. I didn't feel it, I missed it. I want to vibro all the time dialing 7. There is no choice of signal melodies, vibro options, etc. Only on/off 8. The glass was brought into line with the bezel of the watch. Now there is every chance to check the strength of the sapphire, but the dirt is removed from the screen more easily and does not accumulate in the recesses. A separate nuance: the smartphone can independently identify the device through the Bluetuth menu and offer to pair. In no case do not confirm and generally put a ban on pairing. Otherwise, in the case of a connection, synchronization with GarminConnectMobile is interrupted. I suffered for a whole week until the support did not help. The connection should only go through the GCM menu.

I definitely recommend buying, I didnt notice any disadvantages.

This is a multisport watch, not to be confused with a smart watch, it is a fundamentally different device for playing sports, statistics of loads and rest, tracking vital signs of the body. If you need a watch to answer a message in a messenger or a voice call, then this is not about this device at all. There are a lot of functions and sensors, for the best and correct work, I recommend an external heart rate monitor. I consider such additions as paying with a bank card, downloading music…

Pros
  • The quality of materials, sapphire glass, ease of use, positioning accuracy of GPS, Glonass. Battery life, with active use in training mode (running, cycling, swimming in open water) 10-12 days. Contactless payment by credit card.
Cons
  • it’s not very convenient to use music, an application for downloading additional widgets and dials (so far I haven’t found anything sensible, except for the fact that it’s worth it originally). Periodically, the pedometer throws extra steps, but not critical. During the run, I did not find any problems in distance.

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

All the advantages of the watch can be found in the review on the Garmin fenix 5x plus. From practice, yes, it all works (see disadvantages) and the awesomeness of the watch surprises every day! They work 2 times faster, in everything, including GPS! Different pros: Everyone who knows Garmin fenix 5x, multiply coolness by at least 50% and get Garmin fenix 5x plus! Built-in memory, up to 500 music tracks are calculated for downloading, I downloaded more (apparently it depends on the size of the…
