The product worked great as advertised. It was convenient to connect my new Ultrabook to the monitor. However, the connection space is limited because the notebook is very thin and small. This meant that the HDMI port was next to the USB port and the adapter was too wide to fit when the USB port was occupied. It's all my fault but I'm deducting a star in case others might have the same issue. I had to buy a real cable adapter to solve this problem. I didn't need the increased length, but I couldn't use the purchased adapter and USB at the same time.
