this is a tenacious heavy duty collar my 10 week old Large Pyrenee has outgrown his small collar in several ways and i chose this collar mainly for him based on thickness. As my little one will grow to 150 pounds it is so important that we start leash training the big one early. He needed a thick, medium-sized collar that could handle his anti-Sith pups, but not too heavy, he's really well built. He's really thick and I don't have to worry as much about him choking on the leash because this surface is perfect for holding him without hurting him. He fights with other puppies for hours every day, he gets his collar taken off when playing in the water and for daily brushing, and too many times he'll snatch the collar and use it as a chew toy until I rip it off him - and no matter what it is - it's been two weeks and it's still in perfect condition. He is now 12 weeks old and all I can say is wow. because this collar really is one of the best I've ever seen, plus the cute gray color against his white fur? Stunning! I'm pretty sure this collar will last until it grows up probably in about 8 months and if he really needs to upgrade it I'll definitely be buying another mighty paw collar!
