Not quiet.: Fish and aquatic animals
This filter is quite loud. I tried this on my betta in a nano tank so I had to reduce the water flow. I've found that the lower you set the flow, the higher the noise. Super annoying. I thought it was defective so I replaced it. The same with the second. And the third. So yes, this filter is just plain loud. I chose Marina S10. This is a much better choice if you're looking for something with a regulated flow, want something quiet, and don't want to use disposable cartridges. Just add your own filter material and it's amazing.
