Review on Noctua NF-A9 PWM: Premium Quiet 4-Pin Fan (92mm, Brown) - Efficient Cooling Solution by Kaveen Reyes

I have a small 6 cell thermoelectric (Peltier) cooler fridge and the native fan died from it. I found this as a replacement. It has the same physical dimensions, higher CFM flow, draws less current and is quieter than the original fan. A fridge replacement would cost $40-$80 and a fan replacement would cost $16.95, so it's a very good deal. Comes with a 4 pin extension cable. It has rubber mounts on the corners which I assume help with the vibrations (noise). Looks exactly like the picture and appears to be a quality device. I cut the cable from the old fan and pulled it out. I used an extension cord (in case I want to use the fan for something else later), cut the end off and soldered the black (ground) and yellow (+12V) wires to the black and red wires inside the fridge. Voila! Back in business. Speed control is via the PWM wire (blue) and when it is not connected the fan will run at full speed. In fact, I get a 2-to-1 bonus from this fridge: it's cold in my basement office and it generates a small amount of waste heat, so that helps too.
