Review on Secure Your Single Axle Trailer with BAL 28020 Tire Chock by Matt Wigfall

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Disappointed with the quality of the product

This product has a great design but the product I received had poor quality control which affected its use. The threads of one of the threaded studs are stuck in the weld slag threads at several points, making threading difficult. Attempts to clean the slag did not work as it had melted into the threads. Also, one of the threaded bolts was not properly welded to the center square, causing it to wobble when screwing in and out. difficult to tension properly due to this movement. As it rotates, it loosens, then tightens, then loosens, then tightens. I contacted the manufacturer to ask about replacing the threaded bolt instead of returning the Revain product. They didn't seem to care, they just told me to contact the place I bought it from for a refund. So I took her advice and gave it back to Revane. Too bad, because this seems like a good solution for locking the wheel of a single-axle trailer.
