I appreciate quality and am willing to pay more for it. Yellow Jacket cables appear to be good products. This is why I have bought many yellow jacketed cables in the past. All of the Yellow Jacket extensions I've used have worked great. So when I needed some surge protectors and saw them, I decided to give them a try. I bought 2. One of the 2 broke on first use. The illuminated on/off button lights up, but the outlets are not receiving power. I might have thought this a coincidence if I hadn't read about other people's similar experiences with this product. They seem well made, sturdy and heavy but must have a design flaw with surge protection. I will not be buying another Yellow Jacket surge protector.
