TLDR: Pedal Commander changes shift points/programming along with throttle response for BIG results. It's how hard it is to drive this car in the city where I spend most of my time. I rent SUVs for work, and while I don't like them any more than my 4R, some aspects of how my 4R drives really annoyed me. BEFORE upshifting too early, the Pedal Commander 4R also refused to downshift when acceleration is required until your foot hits the ground, and then starts screaming at high revs, which isn't necessary for a 270hp car is. The 4R runs much better than *I think* a modern 270hp car should and I couldn't be happier. I haven't had a PC long enough to notice positive changes in fuel economy, but I didn't buy one for that reason, so it's not a big priority. However, if fuel consumption increases, so much the better. So town is MUCH easier to drive than before, the freeway and freeway is still an improvement, although the 4R was already pretty good. Haven't tried it off-road or in snow yet, but I think it will be ok. There's a disclaimer that says Pedal Commander doesn't increase 4R performance, but it looks like it does :)
