I bought this admittedly beautiful set for my wife for Christmas. What a depression when one of the earrings kept hanging off. Upon inspection, I saw that the pad was not properly attached to the main body. My poor wife didn't want me to be disappointed so she got out her magnifying glass and tried to figure out how to fix it. A jeweler might fix it, or maybe not. I have to admit I ordered a replacement because it's beautiful. I'll keep my fingers crossed for better quality this time. It was quite loose and I don't understand how they could not notice this defect. It's Christmas so I'm sorry but I'm very disappointed with the quality control. I originally gave this product one star but upgraded it to three stars because they made an effort to make things right and see that I am happy with the set.
